Play Mobile Blackjack + £1,000 in Bonuses

Blackjack is the most widely played casino game in the world, and its simplicity and steady payouts make it perfect for mobile casino players.  I’ve played blackjack a number of times on my iPhone for real money.

Mobile blackjack has the exact same rules as “classic blackjack”.  Mobile blackjack pays out 3:2 if you hit Blackjack, and in addition to Hit or Stay, you can make side bets such as Splitting, Doubling Down and Insurance.

Mobile Blackjack Rules

The aim of blackjack is to beat the dealer’s hand without breaking 21.  All of the cards are measured in face value, J up to K is worth 10 points, and Ace can be chosen to be worth 1 or 11 points at anytime.

Before the game starts you need to make a wager.  If you win Blackjack (any Ace and Face card) then you’re paid 3:2.  If you beat the dealer without blackjack then you’ll receive a straight 1:1 payout.  If you and the dealer both draw then it is called a “push” and you receive your bet back.  If you go over 21 and “bust” then you lose the bet, and if the dealer goes over 21 then you automatically win.  (Notably the dealer doesn’t deal his cards until you’ve finished your hand, meaning you could go bust before he deals, giving the house a small edge).

At the beginning of the game you will be dealt two cards (face up).  Depending on the total of your cards, you can choose to Hit in order to receive an additional card (helping you increase the total value of your cards) or if you have a high enough number you can Stay.  For example, if I was dealt 20 than I’d stay since this will probably be enough the beat the dealer.  However, if I was only dealt 11 I’d be better off taking another card.

Side Bets

Side bets are additional bets that you can make during a hand in blackjack.  Normally the size of the bets is related to your initial wager.  You can make the following side bets in mobile blackjack.

Split – When you’re dealt two of the same face cards you can “split” the hand by playing each hand independently.  For example, if you are dealt two 10s then you can split these and play them off independently. You’ll need to place a chip of equal value of your initial wager to the split hand.  From here on, you are effectively playing two hands rather than one.  One could lose to the dealer, one could win.

Insurance – If and only when the dealer has an Ace on his face-up card, you can pay for “insurance”.  If the dealer gets blackjack then it pays your insurance bet at 2:1.   If the dealer doesn’t hit blackjack then you lose you insurance bet. Normally you can wager 50% to 100% of your initial bet with insurance.

Double Down – If you are dealt 9, 10 or 11 in mobile blackjack than you can double down.  This means you can increase the size of your wager by up to 100% however you have to promise to stand on the next card.

Mobile Blackjack Bonuses

Why not scoop up thousands of cash bonuses while playing the game that you enjoy. Mobile blackjack apps always have great bonus offers and promotions. Blackjack is one of the best casino games for clearing mobile casino bonuses because of the low casino edge.

Some casinos like Lady Lucks have what’s called a no deposit bonus. This bonus is small, but it’s completely free. Once you sign-up a free cash bonus is credited to your account instantly, which you can in turn use towards a few hands of mobile blackjack.

Types of Mobile Blackjack Games

Mobile blackjack has come a long way in a few short years. Today there are multiple ways to play blackjack on your mobile phone or tablet. You can play single hand blackjack, multi-hand blackjack, multiplayer blackjack tournaments and live blackjack on apps.

Having live dealer blackjack available on your iPhone, iPad or Android is impressive. If you don’t enjoy playing RNG games you have to try out live blackjack, which is just like playing in a real casino. You’ll see the dealer dealing out the cards on your mobile device.
